“A fantastic place to stay, the rooms were all very good sizes, with the property in a great location and in a perfect setting on the small farm close to the beach.
The photos online do not do the cottage justice as it seemed even bigger once you were there and it was a nice surprise to see a single bed (not in the photos) in the second bedroom alongside the bunk bed. Perfect for our young family.
A previous review stated that the fridge was small, but the owners have since put in a beer fridge.
All in all, a great place to stay and central to many places that we wanted to visit.
The owners were very friendly and took the time to purchase a new high chair prior to our arrival and even got some charcoal in for us for use on the barbecue.
We will definitely stay here again. ”

We had a great stay at Skylarks. It was really clean and well equipped. On arrival there were scones, clotted cream and jam waiting for us. It had plenty of space which had been well thought out. The children enjoyed the farm setting and we were just a short drive down to the beach. Skylarks is well located to get to many Cornish attractions with ease. I would recommend this cottage as a great place to stay. ”

BRILLIANT OUTDOOR AREA TO BBQ, PLAY WITH THE CHILDREN ON SWINGS OR PLENTY OF BALL GAMES PROVIDED. CAN ALSO WALK AROUND THE FARM TO LOOK AT CHICKENS, PIGS AND GOATS. “Very clean place, functional, has all you need, has wheelchair access and walk in shower, modern simple decoration throughout, BBQ outside, appropriate for children. There is a good pub 5 minutes walk away from the cottage, good food and atmosphere, not expensive. National Trust coastal path just on the other side of the road, half an hour walk to 2 beaches, one smaller, national heritage with a lovely cafe that serves food as well, the other bigger and busier with a nice cafe with good lunches but nowhere nice to eat on the beach in the evening. You can also drive to both beaches. Both have car parks. Free after 5pm ”

“Another fantastic holiday spend at The 19th Acre holiday cottage! This is our second visit and our children are already asking if we can go back next year. The cottages have all you could wish for while you are on holiday and the hosts are very welcoming and friendly. We love going for long walks on the nearby cliffs showing off the beautiful Cornish coastline. This area of Cornwall is like a little bit of Heaven!”

“A lovely holiday cottage with every home comfort you will need. A great location to explore other areas of Cornwall or to stay in the local area with gorgeous costal walks just across the road. There is a friendly local pub serving excellent food in walking distance as well. The owners are on site and are the perfect friendly hosts not intrusive at all and very helpful. We will definitely be going back next year Thank you or a lovely holiday.”

“Everything about this property was perfect, I suffer with mobility problems and had no problems what so ever, the entrance hall, kitchen, living room and both bedrooms are very spacious, the bathroom is a large wet room with more than enough room, We had a very nice welcome gift of flowers and the items to make a cream tea. The location was perfect for us with super views and if you are into walking the coast then you should book this cottage. We are already planning our next holiday and we will use this cottage again.
